TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Attorney General Ken Paxton is addressing East Texas Representatives in the Tyler stop of his “accountability” tour ahead of the Texas House Speaker race.
A previous release from Paxton said that the tour is stopping in “key districts” across the state to highlight representatives “who have fallen short of upholding conservative principles in the past and are reportedly working for a Speaker not elected by a Republican majority.”
Rep. Cole Hefner (R-Mount Pleasant), Rep. Jay Dean (R-Longview) and Rep. Cody Harris (R-Palestine) were also at the event.
The event took place at the Holiday Inn at 5701 S. Broadway Avenue in Tyler.
