DALLAS — A winter storm is forecast to bring snow and ice to North Texas this week, with a Winter Storm warning issued from 6 a.m. Thursday until noon on Friday.

Road conditions are expected to deteriorate and become hazardous as snow and ice fall Thursday into Friday. As a result, some city facilities and services in North Texas have announced closures and delayed openings this week.

North Texas city facility delays and closures
North Richland Hills
City facilities, including city hall, municipal court, the library, North Richland Hills Centre and Senior Center, will delay opening until 10 a.m. Thursday. City officials say the delayed opening could be expanded into a full closure depending on how conditions progress Thursday.
Service closures
Meals on Wheels – Collin County
There will be no meal deliveries Thursday and Friday.
