The starch is a non-GMO, non-allergenic and gluten-free ingredient, according to American Key Food Products . Pea starch is an ideal ingredient for food products that require a short, elastic texture, such as glass noodles or gummy confectionaries.

The new recipe has captured attention across the nation.

Several people have commented on Chick-fil-A’s Instagram account to express that they are not fans of the change.

“Please bring back the old fries! The new ones aren’t good, 😕” an Instagram user said.

Another user said, “CFA, I love you more than anyone. You can do no wrong. Except the fries. Please put them back. 🫶🏼”
