The Texas Legislature goes back to work

The Texas Legislature will return to work Tuesday with many fresh faces and perhaps, against all odds, new opportunities for collaboration.

The past two sessions have been marked by brutal partisan fights, and a number of the Republican Party’s most moderate members were ousted in the primary last year.
