H-E-B hiring 600 at new North Texas store

 

H-E-B is hosting the hiring fair for its Melissa store at the Collin College McKinney Campus Conference Center.

MELISSA, Texas — The newest H-E-B grocery store in North Texas is looking to hire 600 employees at a job fair Tuesday, Jan. 14, the company announced.

H-E-B is hosting the hiring fair for its Melissa store at the Collin College McKinney Campus Conference Center, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Melissa store, which will be located at the northeast corner of U.S. 75 and Texas 121, is expected to open sometime this spring.

The Texas-based grocer, which has expanded into North Texas’ most populous counties in recent years, is hiring full-time and part-time roles for all positions, including in the bakery, deli, produce, seafood and market, and the True Texas BBQ restaurant.

H-E-B jobs include a 10% employee discount, enrollment in the company’s stock plan, a 401K with a company match and paid time off. H-E-B also offers optional enrollment in health, vision and dental plans.
