Robinson, Texas woman admits to breaking into ex-husband’s new girlfriend’s home, destroying $5K in possessions: affidavit

ROBINSON, Texas (KWTX) – Lori Lynn Henderson, 50, is charged with burglary of a habitation after she broke into the home belonging to her ex-husband’s new girlfriend and destroyed more than $5,000 in personal property, an arrest warrant affidavit states.

The burglary happened on Dec. 30, 2024, at a residence on Roy Drive, police wrote in the warrant.

Police officers dispatched to the home to investigate found the door was wide open, furniture upside down, clothing scattered throughout and covered with paint, and an antique radio that had been destroyed.

The homeowner told officers she estimated the damage to her personal property to be more than $5,100. The victim also revealed she got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend’s ex-wife the day before.

Detectives called the suspect, identified in the arrest warrant as Henderson, and set up an interview.

Henderson, according to the warrant, admitted to going to the residence on Roy Drive to speak with her husband but no one was home.

Henderson further admitted to breaking into the home and tearing it up, the warrant states.

Online jail records show Henderson is no longer being held at the McLennan County Jail.
