Two drivers crashed into each other and were killed in the collision, according to the Grand Prairie Police Department.
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Two people died in a two-car collision early Monday morning, police said.
A Nissan car was driving west on the I-30 Frontage Road and a Dodge truck was heading south on the Highway 161 service road around 4 a.m. on Monday, according to the Grand Prairie Police Department.
Police said the two cars collided at the intersection of the two roads, and the drivers of both vehicles died on the scene. The drivers were the only people in either car, GPPD said.
The department said that based on witness statements, investigators believe the driver of the Nissan blew a red light.
