ROWLETT, Texas — A pregnant woman was hospitalized Wednesday evening after she was shot at a Rowlett apartment complex, police said.
According to the Rowlett Police Department, the woman was shot around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Harmony Luxury apartment complex on Harmony Hill Lane.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she remains in stable condition, police said. According to police, the baby is assumed to be okay at this time.
Rowlett PD said they are investigating and taking statements from neighbors. The department did not disclose if anyone had been arrested but said more information would be available on Thursday.
