Fort Worth police Friday released new video from a police shooting last week.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police Friday released body camera video from a police shooting last week in which officers shot a man during a domestic disturbance call.
Fort Worth police s ay they got a call at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 5600 block of Seafield Lane about a domestic disturbance.
During a press conference Friday, police released the 911 call they received from a woman who told them her boyfriend was drunk and firing his gun.

Fort Worth Police Sgt. Leah Wagner said officers arrived at the home, set up a perimeter, and tried to get the suspect, identified as Cameron Leverett, 31, out of the house.
Wagner said gunshots were heard from the house, Leverett came out of the house and fired his gun toward officers, who returned fire and hit Leverett.
In body camera video released Friday, what sounded like gun shots could be heard before officers ordered the man to show his hands and yelled “put your hands up!”
In another body camera video, officers could also be heard ordering the man to show his hands, yelling “put your hands up!” before shots could be heard again.
Leverett was taken to a local hospital, and no other people or officers were injured, officials say. Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes said Friday that Leverett remains in critical condition. He faces 7 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a public servant and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon involving family violence, officials said.
Noakes said three officers who responded fired their weapons and a total of eight rounds were fired.
One of the officers has been with the department eight years, another three years and one is a recent police academy graduate, he said.
