Dallas Mavericks return home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on KFAA

The Dallas Mavericks (22-19) will face the Oklahoma City Thunder (34-6) Friday night at the American Airlines Center after a narrow loss in New Orleans on Wednesday. 

A depleted Mavs squad made their best effort to rally for a win, but a controversial missed goaltending call with just a couple of seconds remaining ended their hopes of a road victory. 

As Luka Doncic continues to heal from his left calf strain, Mavs’ Kyrie Irving also remains on the injury report heading into their matchup against the West-leading Thunder as he deals with a nagging back sprain. So once again, it may be a bit of a skeleton crew that is asked to rise to the occasion. 

For the Thunder, they are looking to extend their three-game winning streak Friday as star point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander comes off a 40-point performance in a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
