The Insanity Is Spreading: Here’s What Kamala Harris Just Said About the ERA

As we reported earlier, Joe Biden is going out, capping one of his final events with an insane lie, saying he’s declaring the Equal Rights Amendment ratified and it is the “28th Amendment” now.  He also tweeted out a letter declaring this. This isn’t even close to reality. 

He got smacked with a Community Note referencing how even his own administration’s DOJ Office of Legal Counsel has weighed in, and said the deadline for ratification that passed decades ago was valid. The National Archivist said “cannot be certified as part of the Constitution due to established legal, judicial, and procedural decisions.” So, there isn’t any “28th Amendment.” Everyone has known that for years, up until Friday.

While this is insane on the part of Joe Biden, it isn’t only his insanity. Now, Kamala Harris is repeating this narrative with a similar X post. You could say the insanity is spreading.

So she’s decided to go down with the ship, continuing to lie with Biden as they go out. 

This posting also got smashed by a Community Note, just like Biden/or the intern’s X post. 

The Archivist of the United States, charged with officially publishing ratified amendments, has confirmed that the ERA was not ratified and based that analysis on binding legal precedent. There is no 28th Amendment.

Yet these are the folks constantly complaining about “misinformation” — as they constantly lie and say things that aren’t true. These are the folks who claim to be the guardians of the norms and the Constitution. That was always a lie. 

Why are they suddenly pushing it, because it’s not just a random nuttiness from Biden? 

Are they going to try to claim it’s true because they declared it, but somehow President Donald Trump has then ignored their false pronouncements? I think that’s a likely possibility, because it’s how they think; it’s always about how they can twist things and smear the other side. The fact that they’re going out on such hogwash is just so on brand for their whole time. Whoever is behind this stupidity needs to have his or her head examined. 

But a double lie is still just a lie. So if any political future Harris had wasn’t already in flames because of what a horrible candidate she was, she apparently wants to make it even worse by going over the cliff with Biden and doubling down on his insanity.
