SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio-based grocery chain H-E-B has announced a temporary change in store hours due to frigid temperatures across Texas.
Light precipitation is forecast to arrive in the area by dinnertime Monday. Initially, it may not reach the ground, as the lower part of the atmosphere is very dry.
After sunset, light sprinkles could transition into light freezing rain or light sleet as temperatures gradually cool. Precipitation will peak between midnight and sunrise Tuesday. It’s during this timeframe where light sleet and freezing rain could turn to some light snow for a few areas.
