DALLAS — A charter service for buses, minibuses and motorcoaches has launched a route that connects Dallas-Fort Worth to other major hubs in Texas.
Gogo Charters recently announced a new daily route meant to provide an “alternative to air and rail travel while serving as a catalyst for regional transportation” from Dallas to San Antonio. The route has stops in Waco, Temple, Austin and San M arcos along the way.
The luxe buses have amenities like reclining seats, Wi-Fi, onboard restrooms and a mobile app that allows for real-time trip tracking and e-tickets. For information about pricing and scheduling, click here.
“At GOGO Charters, we’re not just offering an alternative to air travel; we’re elevating the overall travel experience,” said Gogo Charters founder Mark Thronson. “With decades of expertise in transportation and significant investment in technology, we are delivering a superior, luxury travel experience for our customers. The launch of these routes will make it easier for people to stay connected and for cities to thrive, all while offering a seamless, premium travel option.”
The route from Dallas to San Antonio is the company’s first intercity line, but Gogo also operates in other major cities across the country, including Atlanta, New York, New Orleans and Denver.
Thronson in a blog post said the company plans to expand its intercity services across Texas and the country over the next two years.
Gogo Charters’ business largely focuses on rental options for group trips like conferences and corporate events, school trips and off-site parking shuttles.
