A few more freezes, rain chances return

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

  • FREEZES: Two more – tonight and tomorrow night
  • AFTERNOONS: 50s and 60s next ten days
  • RAIN: Daily chances starting Sunday

FORECAST

We’re expecting two more freezing nights (tonight and tomorrow), but Friday night/Saturday morning will be close, so maybe wait until Saturday to unwrap the plants or set them outside – just to be on the safe side. Then morning lows warm into the 50s by Sunday.

Despite chilly mornings the next few days, afternoons will climb into the 50s with full sunshine. However, as the humidity increases over the weekend, low clouds will take hold on Saturday and last through Sunday and all of next week. Those low clouds are likely to accompany drizzle and fog late Saturday and into Sunday morning, so plan for damp roads and trails. Actual rain showers should become isolated in nature with chances daily starting on Sunday and lasting through next week.

More than anything, get ready for a gray and periodically damp stretch of weather starting this weekend and lasting through all of next week. Plus, you’ll feel some humidity back in the air by Sunday.
