The 11-year-old girl told officers she was grabbed by a man while riding her bike before 7 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Cordero Drive.

The girl said the man grabbed her on the back of her hoodie and bicycle. At some point, the girl told officers that she kicked him and fled the area.

The 11-year-old then arrived at the middle school’s back entrance and reported the incident to school administrators.

Following her report, police said officers canvassed the area for a possible suspect, but they couldn’t find anyone or a nearby functioning camera in the area.

According to police, the suspect has a white beard and was also seen wearing a red shirt and black shorts.

KSAT 12 asked Cibolo police if it is considering the incident as an attempted kidnapping.

In its response, a Cibolo police spokesperson said officers were investigating it as an “unlawful restraint” incident.
