The Dallas Mavericks are taking on the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night on WFAA!
DALLAS — TEGNA and the Dallas Mavericks are partnering to locally broadcast a number of the team’s games in the 2024-2025 NBA season.
Under the agreement, all non-nationally televised Mavericks games—at least 70 this season—will air for free on WFAA (Channel 8) or the TEGNA-owned KFAA (Channel 29).
At least 15 of those games will be simulcast on WFAA, including Wednesday night’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Because of this, there have been some changes to WFAA programming.
“Shifting Gears,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Celebrity Jeopardy,” and “Paradise” will not air in their regularly scheduled timeslots on WFAA. Those programs will re-air overnight on WFAA at 1:11 a.m., 1:41 a.m., 2:13 a.m. and 3:13 a.m., respectively.
All of these shows will also be available for streaming live on Hulu. For an up-to-date programming list for WFAA, visit here.
