Post Malone to headline Super Bowl LIX tailgate concert

Post Malone will also feature in a Super Bowl ad and another concert ahead of the big game.

DALLAS — It’s almost time for Super Bowl LIX with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9 in New Orleans.

To help get the vibes going before the big game starts, Grapevine native Post Malone has been tapped as the headliner for the Super Bowl LIX YouTube Tailgate Concert. The concert will be “steps away from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans” and will be livestreamed on YouTube beginning at 3 p.m. Central Time on Feb. 9.

”This year marks YouTube’s first time as the official sponsor of the Super Bowl Tailgate, bringing people around the world a front-row seat to an unforgettable performance by one of the biggest stars in music,” a press release from the NFL reads.

The tailgate concert will be hosted by YouTube creators Kristy and Desmond Scott, Chanen and Juwan Johnson, Monet McMichael, and Carter Kench.

The rapper-turned-country singer/songwriter will also be featured in a Bud Light ad during the game with comedian Shane Gillis and will perform at a Bud Light-backed concert ahead of the Super Bowl Feb. 7 in New Orleans.

Last year, Post Malone sang “America The Beautiful” ahead of Super Bowl LVII, when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers for the title at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Since last year’s Super Bowl, Post Malone has released F-1 Trillion, his first country album, featuring collaborations with the likes of Dolly Parton and Tim McGraw.

The album and his 2024 collaborations earned Post Malone eight 2025 Grammy nominations. Post Malone will headline Coachella this spring before he begins a stadium tour.
