AMX Stadium Seats
AMX Global is recalling around 22,500 of its portable folding Stadium Seats because of a safety issue with the security hooks.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website, these can break, posing a fall and injury risk to owners.
Five reports of the security hook breaking have happened, including two reports of falls as a result. One of these involved headaches, a pinched nerve and bruising.
Two different seat brands are affected. The BJ’s Wholesale seats were sold with dates of April 2022, while Black Sierra seats were sold with dates of May or November 2022.
The CPSC advises owners to stop using the seats immediately and destroy them by cutting through the fabric of the backrest and seat.
Then, owners should take a photo of the seat, which includes their initials and the current date. This should be sent to AMX Global’s recall email — support@stadiumseatrecall.com.
The CPSC said owners will receive a full refund after doing these steps.

Gerber Sooth N Chew
The Associated Press reported baby food maker Gerber is discontinuing its brand of Sooth N Chew teething sticks due to a possible choking hazard.
These teething sticks are edible teethers in strawberry-apple and banana flavors for children six months and older.
Customer complaints were received about choking, including one emergency room visit.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is working with Gerber on this recall.
Owners should return the teethers to stores where they were purchased for a full refund, Gerber said.

Greater Goods Kitchen Scales
Greater Goods is recalling about 349,500 of its digital Kitchen Scales, manufactured from May 2023 to September 2024, due to an ingestion hazard.
The CPSC said the kitchen scales violate mandatory federal regulations regarding button cell or coin batteries, as it is easily accessible to children and do not inform owners of the serious injuries, chemicals and death that could come as a result of ingesting the battery.
Additionally, the spare coin battery provided does not come in child-resistant packaging, which is required by Reese’s Law.
No injuries have been reported from this recall. The CPSC said the kitchen scales were sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Greatergoods.com.
Owners of affected models are advised to place the batteries in a place where children cannot access them.
Retailers will be contacting all known purchasers directly. However, owners can contact Greater Goods for information on how to receive a free recall kit.
This will include a new replacement battery door with the required labeling, as well as a new instruction manual.

Cabinet Health Medicine Bottle
According to the CPSC, 65,000 4 oz. refillable medicine bottles are being recalled by Cabinet Health because of a safety issue with the lid.
The plastic lid’s closure and its child resistance can degrade over time, which poses a child poisoning risk if the medication inside is swallowed.
The CPSC said these clear bottles with different-colored lids were sold with and without medication through Cabinethealth.com, Amazon.com, Grove.co and at CVS stores.
Owners are advised to place the bottles out of sight and reach of children, as well as contact Cabinet Health for a free replacement lid.
A photo will need to be submitted of the destroyed lid to Cabinet Health.
The recall does not affect the medication inside the bottle, the CPSC said.
