Man accused of trafficking, sexually assaulting children met through Snapchat arrested, HCSO says

  

HAYS COUNTY, Texas – A man accused of sexually assaulting children he met on social media has been arrested, according to a release from the Hays County Sheriff’s Office.

Keshawn Kyle French-Burton, 20, was charged with sexual assault of a child and trafficking of persons in Hays County, deputies said. He also faces three counts of sexual assault of a child out of Austin, according to HCSO.

According to a news release, French-Burton used Snapchat to convince victims to meet with him in person, and he would then sexually assault them.

Detectives with HCSO began their investigation into French-Burton in December following a referral from Child Protective Services.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible, the sheriff’s office said.
