Missing man last seen on Northeast Side has been found, BCSO says

  

SAN ANTONIOUPDATE (Feb. 8, 2025): The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said a missing man last seen on the Northeast Side has been found.

In a social media post, the sheriff’s office said Warren Stewart Brooks, 27, has been located.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing man last seen on the Northeast Side of San Antonio.

Warren Stewart Brooks, 27, was last seen around 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, near the 4000 block of Echo Lake Drive.

The sheriff’s office said Brooks is believed to have left his residence on foot and frequently visits nearby gas stations, stores and the Converse Public Library, located at 681 South Seguin Road.

Brooks was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, green T-shirt and gray sweatpants. He is described as 5 feet tall with black hair.

Brooks is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. The sheriff’s office said he does not respond to his name and may not be able to communicate efficiently with others. He also walks with a limp.

Brooks has a cell phone, but it does not have active cellular service, the sheriff’s office said.
