Tickets for Luka’s expected Los Angeles Lakers debut Monday are going fast.
DALLAS — Luka Doncic is expected to make his much-anticipated Los Angeles Lakers debut Monday against the Utah Jazz.
Doncic hasn’t played since Christmas due to a strained left calf. Lakers coach JJ Redick initially told the Associated Press that Doncic could play for the Lakers Saturday against Indiana, but updated the timeline on Thursday before the Lakers hosted the Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers will host the Jazz at 7:30 p.m. PST/ 9:30 CST Monday.
The Lakers acquired the Slovenian superstar last Saturday, giving up Anthony Davis in a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks. Davis made his debut with the Mavs in their game against the Houston Rockets Saturday.
