Police told WFAA the man broke into his ex’s apartment and was shot on Sunday.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was shot and killed Sunday after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
According to the department, the man had broken into his ex’s apartment and confronted her and the suspected shooter as they tried to enter the apartment. Police said the suspected shooter then pulled out a handgun and fired it at the man multiple times, hitting him at least once.
When officers arrived to the scene following a shooting call, they found the man dead on the third floor landing of the apartment building, FWPD said. Police told WFAA no arrests have been made and the suspected shooter has been cooperating with the investigation.
