IRVING, Texas — Irving police are searching for a missing 11-year-old girl, the department said.
Allison, 11, left her home around 10 a.m. Sunday to attend a birthday party but never reached her destination, Irving police said in a press release. The department can not activate an AMBER or ATHENA alet because she is suspected to be in Alabama or a surrounding state, police said.
Officials are encouraging parents with children who may be friends with Allison to seek out information that may help police find her, the release states.
Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call 911.
