No one injured after multiple rounds fired into Southwest Side home during drive-by, police say

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are working to determine what led to multiple rounds being fired into a home on the Southwest Side.

The shooting happened at a home in the 5100 block of Gavilan Drive around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said multiple rounds were fired into the home, which four people occupied.

Details around the incident are limited; however, SAPD believes the shooting was targeted.

SAPD did not provide an estimate of rounds fired, but the resident and a KSAT crew at the scene observed several evidence markers strewn across the road.

No one was injured, and police did not have a description of the shooters but believe they drove up to the house.
