One person killed, one arrested after Fort Worth crash, police say

 

Officers determined the suspect intentionally hit the other vehicle and was an ex-partner of one of the people inside, police said.

FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed after someone intentionally crashed into their vehicle in Fort Worth this weekend, police say.

Police responded to the crash in the 3400 block of NE 28th Street in Fort Worth shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday.

Officers determined the suspect was an ex-partner of someone inside the vehicle and intentionally hit them, according to a press release from Fort Worth police.

One person was pronounced dead and one person was taken into custody, police say. Police didn’t identify the person who was killed or the person taken into custody.

No other details about the crash were immediately available.
