NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The City of Nacogdoches warned residents of a fuel leak Sunday.
A spokesperson for the city said it occurred around underground fuel tanks at 3228 North Street. Nacogdoches Fire and Rescue, Emergency Management and Engineering and Public Works officials are currently coordinating a response with the help of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
City personnel are monitoring the leak and hazardous materials response teams are mitigating the situation. The extent of the spill is currently unknown. CBS19 will update this article as the situation develops.
