The debut festival will take place May 1 through 4, bringing celebrity chefs to North Texas.
FRISCO, Texas — A food festival will bring celebrity chefs, athletes and two country music acts to the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa this May, the hotel announced.
SAVOR, the inaugural “lifestyle festival,” will include a celebrity golf invitational, food and drinks curated by celebrity chefs and live performances from Midland and D. Vincent Williams.
The event will be curated by James Beard-nominated Chef Beau MacMillan and acclaimed Emmy Award-winning event producer Scott Savlov, according to a press release from Omni PGA Resort & Spa.
“By blending exceptional culinary experiences, world-class entertainment, and golf into one unforgettable event, we’re setting a new standard and elevating the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa as a premier lifestyle destination,” said Jeff Smith, vice president and managing director. “This is an incredibly special place and we’re excited to introduce a new audience to everything Texas has to offer.”
Celebrity chefs and mixologists Aarón Sánchez, Antonia Lofaso, Stephanie Izard, John Tesar, Tony Abou-Ganim, Shota Nakajima, Dean Fearing, Kwame Onwuachi, Elizabeth Blau, Jillian Vose, Ann Kim and Kim Canteenwalla will attend the event.
Celebrities including Michael Strahan, Rob Riggle, Anthony Anderson, Aimee Garcia and Nischelle Turner will participate in the SAVOR Celebrity Golf Invitational. Musical acts Midland and D. Vincent Williams will perform.
There will be several tasting events for attendees to indulge in, including a Masters of Taste Dinnerand a Best of Texas Reception, featuring celebrity chefs from Texas.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the North Texas Food Bank, according to the press release. You can purchase tickets here.
