FORECAST
TONIGHT
Thankfully the wind has diminished and is now steady near 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph, which is a big improvement from gusts over 50 mph earlier today (see image below). Also, the relative humidity is slowly rising and will continue to do so through the night. That combined with less wind, will help prevent the spread of any remaining brush fires.
TOMORROW
A chilly morning will lead to a beautiful afternoon going from the mid 40s at sunrise, the mid 70s in the afternoon. Then even cooler Thursday morning in the lower 40s, and that’s as cool as we’ll get in the next ten days. The warmest, 84° on Friday.
NEXT COLD FRONT
Another windy and dry cold front arrives Saturday morning and will likely lead to another elevated fire threat.
