IndyCar Arlington Grand Prix race schedule released one year out from race around AT&T Stadium

The IndyCar Arlington Grand Prix will be held March 13-15, 2026 – mere months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes to the area in June and July.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Exactly one year before the event, IndyCar announced the race schedule for the street race around Arlington’s AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field.

The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington will take place March 13-15, 2026, with practice and qualifications set for Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, respectively, followed by the race on Sunday, March 15.

The 2.73-mile, 14-turn track layout will feature Arlington’s three sporting venues: Dallas Cowboys home, AT&T Stadium, and the Texas Rangers current and former venues, Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium.

The track map was announced in October 2024:

“The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington is definitely circled on the calendar,” said Arrow McLaren NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Pato O’Ward. “Texans love racing, and they love big events. So, this is going to be mega. Hopefully, it will set the new standard for a street circuit race in North America.”

The event in Arlington will get IndyCar back into Texas after Texas Motor Speedway dropped off the schedule last year. IndyCar had raced at the Fort Worth oval every year since the series debut in the 1997 season through 2023. IndyCar and track operator Speedway Motorsports were unable to come to an agreement for 2024, the Associated Press reported.

The IndyCar Arlington Grand Prix will be held mere months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes to the area months later in June and July.

Tickets for the event will be available for purchase later this year, IndyCar officials said in a release. Fans can sign up for early access to the on-sale information here.
