SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire involving two homes on the North Side.
The fire was reported just before 5 p.m. Sunday in the 10300 block of Grenadier Way near the San Antonio International Airport.

Upon arrival, the fire department said the fire was upgraded to a second alarm fire to ensure additional resources were dispatched to the scene.
A shed between the two homes was on fire and was in close proximity to one of the houses, SAFD said.
One of the homes sustained significant damage and the other house had “minor damage,” the fire department said.
SAFD said fire crews launched an “aggressive attack” on the fire and had the fire extinguished in approximately 30 minutes.
Three homes were reportedly without power, according to SAFD.
SAFD said a woman, who was not a homeowner of either burned home, sustained minor heat injuries and was not taken to a hospital.
The fire department said it cannot rule out the possibility of “human involvement” in the cause of the fire, which is currently under investigation.
