5-year-old boy reported missing in North Texas, police say

 

Santiago Aburto Gonzalez was last seen around 7 p.m. Sunday when he walked out of his family’s home at the Ashton Park Apartment Homes.

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Grand Prairie police on Monday morning were searching for a missing five-year-old boy, officials said.

Santiago Aburto Gonzalez was last seen around 7 p.m. Sunday when he walked out of his family’s home at the Ashton Park Apartment Homes in the 2300 block of West Pioneer Parkway in Grand Prairie, police said.

Aburto was last seen wearing an orange “Mickey” t-shirt, blue shorts and no shoes, according to a police news release. He has been diagnosed with an intellectual disability, police said, and officials believe his disappearance poses a threat to his own safety.
