Imagination runs wild at Fritz’s Adventures

THE COLONY, Texas — Looking for fun and adventure? Why do just one thing when you can do everything?

“If you wanted to go outside, travel up something, climb something, slide on something, we’ve got it inside Fritz’s,” said Travis Leaming, chief operating officer for Fritz’s Adventures.

Located at the Grandscape in The Colony, Fritz’s Adventures has everything, everywhere: on the walls, in the air, underground.

“Every square foot of space, even in the air, we’re like, ‘can we fill that with something,’” Leaming said.

This is just the second Fritz’s location in the country.

It was born in Branson, Mo. when a dad and his five sons let their imaginations run wild.

“They decided to take everything where they were like, ‘what could we do,’ and put it all under one roof.”

Those boys wanted to explore the inside of shipping containers, cement mixers, and oil tankers. They wanted to traverse ziplines, ropes courses, and slides. They were curious about what it was like inside an airplane cockpit or underground tunnels.

So they gathered all their curious adventures and put them inside Fritz’s.

Leaming says kids and grown-ups can climb, crawl and capture their curiosity.

“There’s lots to do at Fritz’s for anyone, but ultimately we want to make sure you’re experiencing a lot of wow moments,” he said.

It’s the perfect place to get lost in your imagination.

Fritz’s will open April 2 in The Colony.
