SAN ANTONIO – Two men were hospitalized after a shooting on the West Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1900 block of W. Laurel Street near Culebra Road.
Upon arrival, officers found two men, ages 22 and 35, with gunshot wounds to their legs, SAPD told KSAT.
Police believe there was an altercation that led to an exchange of gunfire.
Around the same time the victims arrived at the hospital, the suspects, two men who were both 22 years old, arrived at a nearby hospital in a vehicle riddled with bullet holes, according to an SAPD preliminary report on Wednesday.
All the men involved suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
There were approximately 18 shell casings found at the scene. SAPD said a pistol was also recovered.
Police did not immediately indicate in their report if any charges were expected to be filed.
Details about how the shooting began are still unclear.
