The Dallas Mavericks are back home at the AAC to play the Detroit Pistons.
DALLAS — Watch the Dallas Mavericks vs. Detroit Pistons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21 on WFAA/KFAA. Here’s a breakdown on how to tune in – and guarantee you get the clearest signal possible of the broadcast.
The Dallas Mavericks (33-37) are back home to take on the Detroit Pistons (39-31) in American Airlines Center Friday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m.
The Mavs are coming off a devastating 131-135 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. A double team on Max Christie led to a turnover, a Pacers three and a Dallas loss. That dagger also put Dallas in a tie for 10th in the West with the Phoenix Suns.
Costly injuries have left Dallas in a free fall. In their last 10 games, the Mavs have lost nine.
On the other end of the floor, the Pistons have been an exciting young team. Cade Cunningham has blossomed into a franchise-level point guard. Cunningham currently ranks 3rd in the NBA for assists per game and 10th for points per game.
The Pistons also have an interesting blend of young talent and veteran presence. Jalen Duran and Ausar Thompson have breathed life into the Detroit defense. Duran currently ranks 8th in rebounds per game across the league. Tobias Harris and Dennis Dennis Schröder have also made solid contributions to the offense and provided veteran leadership.
While Dallas fights to remain in play-in contention in the West, Detroit is fighting for better seeding in the East. The Pistons are just one game back from the 4-seed, which would give them home-court advantage come playoff time.
