All northbound traffic is shut down at Crawford Road, according to Denton County Emergency Services District No. 1.
DENTON COUNTY, Texas — All traffic on northbound I-35W at Crawford Road in Denton County has been shut down while personnel work a major vehicle crash in the area, according to Denton County Emergency Services District No. 1.
In a tweet, officials said the crash involved multiple vehicles on northbound I-35W.
According to Argyle Police Chief Emmitt Jackson, a total of six people have been taken to the hospital — four to Medical City Denton and two to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Jackson said CPR was administered to at least two people on scene by Denton County emergency crews.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area while first responders work on the scene.
