Escondido Tex Mex Patio is opening another Dallas location soon.
DALLAS — A popular Dallas Tex-Mex restaurant is opening a new location – and it’s coming to a bustling neighborhood.
Escondido Tex Mex Patio, which debuted at its Preston Hollow location in 2022, is planning to open another location on Greenville Avenue in the summer of 2026, the restaurant announced Tuesday. Escondido will occupy the former Blue Fish Sushi space, across from Granada Theater near Greenville and Longview Street.
The original Escondido opened in 2022 at Preston and Royal in North Dallas. D Magazine named it among the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Dallas, touting its healthier options, especially its taco or enchilada lunch special.
Escondido owner Jon Alexis is also behind Dallas concepts TJ’s Seafood Market & Grill, Bridie’s Eastside, Ramble Room, and Malibu Poke.
The new Escondido will have a bar, upscale dining room, a climate-controlled patio and one of the largest parking lots in the Greenville area, the restaurant says.
“Greenville Avenue is electric right now” Alexis said in a press release. “We can’t wait to bring Escondido to one of our favorite dining districts.”
