Adam Schiff Predicts GOP Sweep if Biden Remains Top of Ticket

Top House Democrat and the lead voice of the Russia collusion hoax, Rep. Adam Schiff, told donors that he fears if President Biden remains in the race, it will not only cost the Democrats the presidency but also the House and Senate.

Per the New York Times, Schiff said:

“I think if he is our nominee, I think we lose,” the newspaper quoted Schiff as saying, citing a person with access to a transcription of a recording of the fundraiser. “And we may very, very well lose the Senate and lose our chance to take back the House.”

The calls for Biden to step aside have resumed following a pause after the Trump assassination attempt. So far, 18 House Democrats have come out publicly and asked Biden to step aside, as well as Sen. Peter Welch (D-VT), who is the only Senator, thus far, to have done so.

This is a big admission by Schiff, considering he is one of the most vocal critics of the former President. The fact that even after all of the negative things he has said about Trump, he believes Trump will become the 47th President and Biden will sink down-ballot candidates speaks volumes. Of course, he is running for the U.S. Senate in California, so he has a vested interest in ensuring that down-ballot races aren’t affected.

Prior to the assassination attempt, polls showed Trump virtually beating anybody Democrats put forward, nationally and in swing states, with the exception of former First Lady Michelle Obama, but she has consistently rejected the idea of being the Democrat nominee.

Here is a post-debate poll, and it is a national poll by Data Progress, which is a progressive Democrat pollster:

The polls look good for Trump, and it looks like an electoral landslide win on paper. But polls don’t vote, so the GOP must get out the vote in droves, as well as attempt to convince Independent voters to vote for the Trump-Vance ticket in November.

Trump seems to have all the momentum behind him, and although that is the case, it’s not the time to get complacent. Instead, the GOP must work harder, register voters like Scott Pressler has been doing for years, and convince undecided voters that the Democrats’ vision for America is the same thing we have experienced the past three-and-a-half years with the high cost of gas, groceries, outdoor eating, and just about everything else.
