On March 11, the affidavit states police were sent to the 3800 block of Pine Avenue on reports of a burglary in progress.

Call notes, according to the affidavit, said a neighbor called the homeowner saying someone was in their house.

Officers arrived on scene the same time as the homeowner and the neighbor came out and said a man came outside the homeowner’s house, looked into the neighbor’s truck and went back into the home, the affidavit states.

As officers went to the right side of the house, the affidavit states the man, later identified as Walker, came from the garage and was challenged by police.

Officers, according to the affidavit, told Walker to get on his stomach and he was detained. While detained, the affidavit states Walker said a man and woman were still inside the house.

Additional units were called in and police did a sweep of the home with the homeowner.

While doing the sweep, the affidavit states damaged property was found in the garage, it seemed that Walker had taken a shower and at some point was in the homeowner’s bed.

The homeowner, according to the affidavit, also determined that the clothes being worn by Walker belonged to another resident of the home.

In the kitchen, the affidavit states officers found a pair of men’s underwear hanging from the kitchen sink and window, with the homeowner confirming the underwear didn’t belong to anyone in the residence.

Police also found money and an inhaler on the kitchen counter that didn’t belong to the homeowner, the affidavit states.

The affidavit alleges Walker appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic and made statements that he was in the home with his wife and another man. There was no evidence to of anyone else being in the residence, according to the affidavit.

While gathering clothes inside the home, the affidavit states police found a wallet that appeared to have “My Little Pony” on it with an Arkansas driver’s license inside that belonged to Walker.

Walker was taken to the McLennan County Jail where he was booked on a $10,000 bond.
