Andre McDonald’s father awaits trial in Jamaica, accused of murdering two of his wives

SAN ANTONIO – A day after Andre McDonald was sentenced to 20 years in prison for causing the death of his wife Andreen McDonald, sources confirmed to KSAT 12 that McDonald’s father is awaiting trial in Jamaica for the murder of his ex-wife and current wife.

Everton McDonald, also known as Beachy Stout, will go to trial in September for the accused murder-for-hire of his second wife, Tonia Hamilton-McDonald, in July 2020, according to Loop Jamaica News.

Everton McDonald is also facing a murder charge for the death of his first wife, Merlene in May 2009.

According to Loop Jamaica News, Everton McDonald will be in court in that case in Jan. of 2024 and is expected to take a plea deal.

Both of the murders took place in Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica.

Everton McDonald is a prominent businessman in Port Antonio where both Andre and Andreen McDonald are from.

On Feb. 3, a jury found Andre McDonald guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter for causing the 2019 death of Andreen McDonald. A judge sentenced him to the maximum sentence.

McDonald is eligible for parole in 7 and a half years.
