Just when we thought Democrats couldn’t go any lower, they show their true colors.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s remarks referring to Governor Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels” just proves that the Left is out of ideas and resorting to their usual playbook of insults and name-calling.
Here’s what Governor Abbott had this to say in response:
Here’s the truth: Governor Abbott and Republicans are delivering results, and Democrats can’t stand it:
✔️ The southern border is more secure. ✔️ Illegal border crossings are down. ✔️ The Left’s WOKE agenda is being dismantled. ✔️ Texas is closer than ever to securing universal school choice.
Democrats are desperate to smear Republicans, and they have friends in the media to help them do it. That’s why it’s more important than ever that we come together to defend the conservative agenda.

Since I became Governor, Texas has added more than 2 million new jobs. We’re home to over 3 million small businesses that employ nearly half of all working Texans, and we’re #1 for Fortune 500 company headquarters. We’re also #1 for economic development, exports, and jobs created by Black business owners, Hispanic women business owners, and veteran women business owners.
In Texas, everyone can succeed.
My wife Cecilia, the first Hispanic First Lady of Texas, our daughter, Audrey, and I – plus our three Golden Retrievers, Peaches, Pancake, and Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit – love this great state and are proud to call it home.
