Anti-DEI Warrior Robby Starbuck Notches Another Victory—Nation’s Largest Retailer Dials Back

I’ll start by saying unequivocally that I’m no fan of DEI. I saw what it did to the school where I sent my four kids; it started as a loving, nurturing environment, but then it turned toxic as they created “affinity groups”—basically segregating folks off into their own little fiefdoms—and shaming those that were considered “privileged.” Meanwhile, they were only too happy to take the money of those “privileged” families to fund their endowments and grants. Just keep it quiet, they seemed to be saying.

I’m married to a Jamaican (legal) immigrant, and my kids are multi-ethnic, so you’d think I’d be down for the cause. But I’m not. There’s a simple reason for that: it’s wrong.

Yes, slavery was the ultimate evil, and has bedeviled our nation since its earliest days. But the United States is far from the only country that engaged in the practice; virtually every race has been enslaved by other humans at some point or another. Where do you think the term “Slavic” came from?

As my mom used to say, two rights wrongs don’t make a right.

We as a nation have made great strides in our battle against racism and intolerance, and I would argue that we’ve mostly been successful in that effort. But the “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” movement is not forwarding that goal; in fact, it’s just deepening divisions.

Activist Robby Starbuck has been at the forefront of exposing these divisive efforts, and now he’s just called the nation’s largest retailer onto the carpet for both their DEI efforts and their sexually charged agenda:

Anti-woke activist and filmmaker Robby Starbuck, who has been leading a campaign exposing major corporations’ woke policies, said on X on Monday that he warned Walmart executives last week that he would be doing a story on “wokeness” at the retail giant.

“Instead,” Starbuck shared, “we had productive conversations to find solutions.”

Starbuck outlined the changes Walmart agreed to make, including working to remove sexual and transgender products inappropriately marketed toward children and reviewing grants to Pride events to avoid funding sexualized content targeting kids.

Despite the temporary victory, Starbuck vowed to continue the fight:

“Changing normal operating policy at a nearly $1 trillion company is a gargantuan feat that many have tried to achieve but no one until now has actually been able to get done,” he continued. “It speaks to the strength and scale of our movement to eliminate wokeness from society and how effective I’ve been as a megaphone for the concerns of your average consumer.”

Starbuck added, “I won’t stop until wokeness is a relic of the past.”

Starbuck is an undersung hero in my view; he’s been out there fighting the fight regardless of how much media attention he gets.

Keep on keeping on, Robby.

Yes, I’m making a pitch here. Big Tech and Big government tried to put outlets like ours out of business during the (thankfully almost over) Biden years. One way we were able to survive was through our VIP program.
