Are We Seeing an End to the Age of AOC?

It wasn’t that long ago that being caught disagreeing with AOC meant cancellation. The entireDemocrat Party either feared her too much to openly disagree with her or tried to mimic her in some way, shape, or form.

But now, it would appear that New York’s socialist lawmaker can’t hold a town hall without it being crashed with protesters and dissenters. As RedState reported earlier, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was confronted at a townhall once again, and between the dancing during chants against her and suddenly taking on a heavy accent in order to get the crowd to calm down, it would appear that AOC is at a loss on how to handle things.

It’s unclear if the protesters are from some sort of organization or if it’s a grassroots rebellion against the congresswoman, but it really doesn’t matter. It’s pretty clear the tables are turning on her and her weird behavior suggests this kind of confrontation is alien to her. It’s reminiscent of the days when she’d be caught off guard during interviews and she’d deliver a fidget-laden word salad.

If they’re openly defying this radical leftist celebrity, then something must be shifting on the left. AOC will certainly maintain having diehard supporters but as time goes on, it would appear the novelty of a young leftist radical has wore off and the reality about her is sinking in. Her damaging effect on her district is becoming more and more apparent, and it would appear that she has fewer and fewer friends.

Whatever magic AOC brought to the table is clearly wearing thin and the once infallible princess of the left is now facing the end of her time as the unofficial leader of the Democrat Party. Time will tell, but AOC’s lack of common sense and her unshakeable attachment to systems that don’t work is only going to make this worse for her.
