On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as Aggie baseball advanced to the Men’s College World Series for the eighth time in program history and track & field had success in Eugene.


Baseball
No deficit is too large for the 2024 Fightin’ Texas Aggie baseball team, as a nine-run seventh inning propelled Texas A&M right to America’s Heartland.

  • Kaeden Kent: 3-for-5, 5 RBI
  • Hayden Schott: 4-for-4, 4 RBI

The Aggies will face Florida on Saturday of MCWS. 

Track & Field 
Men finished 5th, women finished 10th

  • Timara Chapman, Hepthalon national champion
  • Men’s 4×400 relay team won a national championship and broke the school record with time of 2:58.37
  • First Team All-American: Women’s 4×4, Abigail Martin (discus), Lamara Distin (high jump), Kimar Farquharson (Far-ka-sin) (800m), Sam Whitmarsh (800m), Ja’Qualon Scott (110m and 400m hurdles)
  • Second Team All-American: Joniar Thomas (hepthalon)

Soccer
Over 85,000 fans witnessed a historic match at Kyle Field on Saturday night as Brazil defeated Mexico, 3-2.
