Around Aggieland (7/29)

On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as 24 Aggies continue to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, football reports on Tuesday and much more.

Olympics
Men’s Tennis

Aggie Hady Habib was bested by Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, the world’s No. 3 ranked player on Saturday in the first round of the men’s singles bracket (3-6, 1-6). Habib was subbed into the singles draw for Lebanon on short notice after an injury to a fellow teammate on Wednesday, July 24.

Habib and partner Benjamin Hassan fell to the Australian duo of Matthew Ebden and John Peers in the first round of men’s doubles on Sunday (6-7 [5-7], 2-6). The loss ended Habib’s first Olympic Games after representing Lebanon in singles and doubles.
