HOUSTON, Texas — Beyoncé’s halftime show performance at the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game on Christmas Day had some North Texas representation.

The Houston native’s “Cowboy Carter”-themed halftime show, dubbed “Beyoncé Bowl” on social media, featured help from Grapevine native Post Malone and Coppell native guitarist Emily Elbert.

Post Malone joined Beyoncé to perform “Levii’s Jeans,” the duet featured on “Cowboy Carter.”

Elbert, who’s toured with Fort Worth’s own Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Leon Bridges, among others, was spotted performing alongside Beyoné on guitar.

“Absolute dream of dreams,” she wrote on social media. “An honor of a lifetime to play alongside the Queen.”

“Thank you @khirye90 + @jussjef for your trust, and of course to Beyoncé for being the greatest pop star of our time. happy holidays y’all.” Elbert wrote.

The show, which reportedly marked the first time Beyoncé performed songs from her album “Cowboy Carter” for a live audience, began with her riding in on horseback for a performance of her song “16 Carriages,” followed by her cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird.”

The show also featured appearances by Shaboozey and Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who danced next to her mom during “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

This year marked the first of a three-season partnership for Netflix to broadcast NFL games on Christmas Day with a doubleheader that included the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ravens-Texans game. The Ravens-Texans game quickly became the most-watched Christmas Day game on record, according to NFL Media.

Beyoncé isn’t a stranger to NFL events, though. She previously headlined the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans and joined Coldplay’s Super Bowl set three years later.
