Joe Biden took questions on Tuesday regarding his unconstitutional student debt “forgiveness” action.
His responses were complete confusion with a little racism thrown in, to top it off. Classic Joe being Joe.
But Fox’s Peter Doocy managed to get Joe Biden to answer a question on another topic: the FBI raid on President Donald Trump. “How much advance notice did you have of the FBI plan to search Mar-a-Lago?” Doocy asked.
“I didn’t have any advance notice,” Biden claimed. “None. Zero. Not one single bit.”
Biden seems so befuddled much of the time, that one could believe that he might not know of the particular time of the raid. But even the way he denied it is like other times he’s lied — he overstates and overclaims — so you know he’s lying here.
Take his lie about not knowing anything about his son Hunter’s business, when the truth is he’s met with more than 14 of his son’s business associates.
The truth is that while the White House might not have known about the exact time of the raid, the Biden White House was involved in setting the action in motion, as we reported. The White House Counsel’s office had been in contact with the FBI, DOJ, and National Archives as early as April, about the documents.
Then, on May 10, Acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall sent Trump’s lawyers a letter that laid out the White House’s involvement.
“On April 11, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office–affirming a request from the Department of Justice supported by an FBI letterhead memorandum–formally transmitted a request that NARA provide the FBI access to the 15 boxes for its review within seven days, with the possibility that the FBI might request copies of specific documents following its review of the boxes,” Wall wrote.
“The Counsel to the President has informed me that, in light of the particular circumstances presented here, President Biden defers to my determination, in consultation with the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel, regarding whether or not I should uphold the former President’s purported ‘protective assertion of executive privilege,'” Wall wrote. “… I have therefore decided not to honor the former President’s ‘protective’ claim of privilege.”
So Biden was involved, “not one single bit” — but a whole lot of bits. It’s Biden lying right to our faces once again about such an incredibly important matter — about his involvement in using the power of the government against his once and possibly future opponent. Talk about a banana republic and the things that impeachments are made of.
I would be remiss if I didn’t also note something that, if Biden were a Republican, the left would be screaming about. Biden made the sign of a “zero” that some on the left falsely claim is a “white power symbol.” But somehow that outrage is missing when it comes to Biden.
This has to be number one on the hit parade when the GOP takes back power in Congress if we’re going to stop this madness.
