A body was recovered from the Trinity River overnight Tuesday, officials said.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A body was recovered from the Trinity River overnight Tuesday, Fort Worth police said.
Officers responded to a water emergency call around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Purcey Street, police said in a press release. Police found a person in the river who was pronounced dead on the scene, officials said.
Officials don’t know what led up to the incident, the release states. Homicide detectives were notified and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
