TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) – A boil water advisory has been issued for some citizens in Texarkana, Texas due to reduced distribution system pressure and loss of water while repairs were being made at the water main on Columbine Lane.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the city to issue this boil advisory and notify customers to boil their water before consuming it in any way. The city says the loss of water happened when a contractor hit the water line at 4023 Columbine Lane. Customers affected are between Richmond Road and Honeysuckle Lane, including Poinsettia Drive between Robin Lane and Columbine Lane.
