LAREDO, Texas — Two Laredo Sector Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) operators received commendations for their heroic efforts in aiding a shark bite victim.
The commendations were presented by CBP Commissioner Troy Miller, recognizing the bravery and quick response of the BORSTAR operators. In addition to the commendations, the Laredo Sector welcomed its newest BORSTAR operator, Ganninger, according to a press release from the U.S. Border Patrol Laredo Sector.
