LAREDO, Texas — Laredo West Border Patrol agents successfully located a missing child using a drone equipped with an infrared system, authorities said.
The agents responded to the call and launched the drone, which identified the child hundreds of yards away at the bottom of a riverbank. The drone operator guided Webb County Sheriff and Border Patrol agents to the child’s location, leading to a successful recovery.
